German Academic Exchange Service formally known as DAAD enabled four students from Tunisia to accomplish their Master theses at RWTH Aachen. Asma Essefi, Hajer Dali, Sallema Fekiri and Fatma Zahra Ouerfelli are final year Bioengineering students in Université Libre de Tunis and now have the opportunity to finish their theses in the Schwaneberg group. The title of the DAAD funded project is called Change by OmniChange, which allows the students to delve into the field of protein engineering. This exchange program enables the students to learn various protein engineering methods and helps them to become independent researchers later. Not only do the students gain valuable laboratory experience, they are also immersed in an intercultural working atmosphere.
